Every piece starts as a plank and a pencil line.

Teak & Grain is a small workshop in Pomona, Kempton Park, run by Dean Maartens. We make shelves, wall décor, TV units and furniture by hand — measuring, cutting, sanding and finishing each piece ourselves.

We believe good furniture should feel warm, look honest and last for years. That means solid timber, careful joinery and finishes that let the grain show through.

Whether it's a piece from the shop or something built to fit one particular wall, we deliver across South Africa.
